Collaborating with organizational partners is an integral component of FSU COACH. While partners provide guidance real-world perspective and support the mission of the Center, the Center in turn aids the organization in the form of best-practice and current research, education, and development in sports and coaching. If you represent a sports organization interested in supporting or receiving support from FSU COACH, please contact the Director, Tim Baghurst.

Founded in 2011, WeCOACH is a one-of-a-kind501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to recruiting, advancing, and retaining women coaches in all sports and levels through year-round professional growth & leadership development programs. Prior to Title IX, over 90% of women’s collegiate sports teams were coached by women. Today, over 50 years later, the data indicates that number has decreased to 46% in Division I, 41% across all three NCAADivisions, with only 6.2% women head coaches of color (Division I). Only 5% women coachmen’s teams. At the youth level, the data is hard to estimate, approximately less than 20%of teams are coached by women. WeCOACH launched MOVE the NUMBERS in 2022 to help change the landscape for women coaches and the student-athletes they lead. If she can see her, she can be her. Coaches' Tool Chest creates the ability for coaches and athletic directors to be more effective and time efficient in their roles. They do online coach education that offers all the content a coach needs to be properly certified in their state. For the athletic administrator who needs to track certification and ensure compliance, their one certificate and common date approach makes that job simple and allows the athletic administrator to focus more on supporting coaches and athletes. For the coach who is looking to increase their knowledge on how to best support their athletes, their coursework focuses on delivering information that is both useful and actionable. It is a blend of required courses such as Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest and athlete focused topics such as Building Resilience and Sharpening Your Athlete's Mental Game. Best of all? Each year all the content is updated so that learning feels fresh and a coach continually grows their skillset over time.
